Participated in a group project to gather data from a biosensor using Bluetooth Low Energy technology. This was done by using a Generic Attribute Profile to send and receive data over a BLE link. The app was developed using Android Studio, and coded in Java. The group used the Agile methodology for project management.
Collaborated in a group project as a programmer to develop a search feature for a text editor program. This feature would search for every file in the computer with the designated file extension. A background worker thread was used to implement the search feature to keep the UI thread and worker thread separate. The UI thread was updated regularly using a delegate to report progress from the worker thread. The program was developed using Visual Studio, and coded in C#.
Created a module to implement the C-Look disk scheduling algorithm in the Linux kernel. The module was written in C.
