Senior Program Manager that worked on Cardinal Health’s $111 million Order to Cash (OTC) Supply Chain Program. Helped establish the program PMO. I was one of the key resources that defined the OTC program by accumulating all the production stability issues and documenting all the recommended enhancements that have been pending and creating 25 projects that made up the initial program scope. Responsible for engaging internal resources to work on production stability issues, helped establish infrastructure capacity plans, grew the infrastructure as required to prepare for an enterprise-wide SAP implementation and to reduce lack of infrastructure redundancy. Program Manager responsible for a program consisting of several projects and a $10 million budget: the NATO Interactive Voice Response (IVR) project, AG & ALG Nuance IVR Tuning projects, NATO IVR Reporting project, AG Membership Application project, AG & ALG CTI Enabling project, Network Prompter Migration to the CVP Platform project and the VRU Infrastructure Hardware Shutdown and Retirement project. Provided Supply Chain Project Management services to retire a large Export and Clearing House Brokerage (CHB) system IES and Freight Forwarding system with an in-house built system created by our team in Hamburg, Germany. Before leaving Pacer, provided a strong business case to replace the unsupported Acuity Accounting system with either a supported upgrade or purchase of a 3rd party accounting system called Infinium. Responsible for the $10 million program budget.

Assisted in the creation of the project budget proposal packages for two of Nationwide’s projects and development of Nationwide’s first PMO Manual. These projects were multi-million-dollar mainframe and web enhanced projects that were put on hold, so I moved on to Pacer Global Logistics.

Retail IT SUPPLY CHAIN MANUFACTURING MANAGER

Retail IT Supply Chain Manager with 14 direct reports, leading a team of software developers engaged in multiple Supply Chain Development projects. Conducted and reported on feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of application systems and programs. Worked to support and enhance production systems and a DB2 and Teradata database on an IBM mainframe.

Directed multi-million-dollar replacement of the Limited Express stores’ mainframe Allocation System with the UNIX legacy and new systems, using a 20-man Express and Oracle project team to create significant cost savings. The Arthur Allocation Implementation project included multiple mainframe system enhancements, new interfaces between systems required numerous modifications using an Oracle 11i database and was implemented using Oracle’s Application Integration Methodologies with very few problems and the cutover from mainframe to UNIX was seamless for the Express Allocation Division.

Performed IV&V evaluations on an Event Tracking system offered by Luen Thai. The system is a garment manufacturing event-tracking system written in Cold Fusion. Worked closely with Express Stores Manufacturing Business Division for requirements gathering and to ensure their needs were met by the product.

Managed the Teradata Warehouse build and reporting projects where the Teradata Warehouse was populated by DB2 databases.

Increased productivity and efficiency for business partners by modifying all Victoria’s Secret related JCL to convert online report viewing from Beta93 to Control-D.

Participated in an elite group to improve production stability throughout the business application areas.

Managed the UPS Shipping Agreement project saving the business $800k annually and an additional $350k annually after implementing the shipping logic enhancements for Victoria’s Secret Catalog Distribution Center.

IT Manager on the Asset Management Standard System (MMSS) project. This application suite was later used by the Marine Corps and Air Force during Operation Desert Storm. Received formal letters of thanks from Marine Corps and Air Force personnel.

IV&V Manager on a 2 year Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) project overseeing the Atlantic Research Corporation’s (ARC) IPMIS (management information system) project working directly for the Air Force PMO. Led all testing and validation efforts for CSC’s first IV&V project overseeing the ARC IPMIS development project, working directly with ARC management, the Air Force PMO, and CSC’s Vice President. This highly successful IV&V project preceded CSC’s acquisition of ARC.

Trained numerous Air Force personnel on the SC&D Asset Management System and its continued enhancements for 5 years as part of my responsibilities as Project Manager.
