Sr. HR Generalist

Cadence is one of the world's largest technology service providers of electronic design

Cadence China has around 800 employees. Workday System management, China compensation& Benefit, HR operation etc. 1. HRIM management

Act as HR Workday system representative to support Korea, Taiwan and Singapore, with around 400 employees.

Supporting Workday change management related to the implementation of organizational effectiveness solutions. Including but not limited to employee in/out, change on the job, organization change etc.

Monitor Workday data accuracy and process effectiveness from job requisitions open to employees’ hiring.

2. Compensation& Benefit management

In charge of whole China& HK payroll work. Handle China employees’ monthly payroll pre-calculation process, employee compensation related communication and drive payroll implementation with finance team timely and accurately.

Tied in with HRBPs on compensation project. Serve as an advisor on compensation related activities such as employee retention, focal review, and organization restructure.

In charge of China local employee's commercial insurance program and Non-China national employee's elite insurance program.

3. HR Operation

Monitor human resource vendors to drive all employee related affairs in right status, such as social security, housing fund, residence permit etc.

Monitor and review HR process constantly to optimize and streamline operation work.

Execution of HR solutions, provide HR support, process knowledge advice and consultation to employees. Collaborate with HRBP to influence and execute HR processed and initiatives.

4. Staffing

As the recruiter supporting Shanghai R&D team. In charge of sourcing engineering candidate in high tech market, candidate interview and engagement.

Co-work with staffing team on Campus recruiting in China top universities. Fully support on campus talk organizing and candidate selection. 5. Employee relationship and learning& development

Initiate and support site event, such as charity bazaar, site employee activity, BU day etc.

Providing information, tools and trainings to support effective delivery of on system

(Workday, Globoforce) utilization and HR services and processes.

Act as L&D committee key member, co-work with L&D team on annual training plan design, training course selecting and delivering.

China employee benefit harmonization project

The benefit harmonization project is aim to maximize Cadence China employee’s benefit without extra cost and create a more employee caring environment. As member of project team, I fully engage in the whole project with below main responsibilities_

Review current employee wellness benefit package. Collect market data and leverage professional consulting firm on the benefit structure design and vendor selection.

Conduct communications with corporate C&B team to get approval.

Internal communication and promotion from top to down. APAC New hire welcoming project

Besides online Red-carpet new hire process, this project is an offline program aim to promote Cadence branding and enhance employee experience.

As project leader, I drive this program from initially to fully achieve. Main responsibilities are_

Investigation on what new hires are expecting on first day joining Cadence.

Budget design and proposal, welcoming package design and vendor selection.

Internal and external promotion.

China employee handbook project

As the project leader, I take charge of whole process_

Initiating discussion with legal on the policy definition.

Policy item amendment and conduct employee communication.

Handbook booklet design and final publication.
