Criterion Systems (Contractor) 2015-Present

Responsible for the repair of the computer and electronic equipment used to support the Intelligence mission for the Kansas Air National Guard. This equipment includes fixing a variety of servers, UNIX and windows workstations, printers and phone support. We also work on a wide range of software and hardware issues for the support of the Intelligence operations squadron.

Shift Supervisor of the Network Operation & Security Center 2008 – 1 Oct. 2014 Retired

As a Supervisor over 15 IT technicians I always made sure that my work was done on time and in detail. I worked with customers in all 50 states to include Guam and Puerto Rico. The assistance I provided was in a variety of areas, Directory services, Microsoft exchange, infrastructure and boundary protection as well as storage and virtualization issues and anti-virus problems. I always made sure my technicians were aware of what I expected of them. I identified known problems to upper management and presented ways to make improvements. My recommendations were implemented on several occasions. I have 13 years’ experience in IT and have dealt with the following areas, certification and accreditation process, quality assurance, maintenance testing, IT integration and system architecture as needed. I worked with A6 NGB in the area of assessing policy needs, reviews, and revisions I have also developed some IT policy for the ANG. I then up channel these for approval. I have implemented several IT & comm. programs for the NOSC. I have a Top Secret/SCI clearance that is good until 2018.

WATC IT part time technician. 2009-2014

I worked Part time in the IT department for the Wichita Area Technical College. I did a variety of work for them. Ranging from fixing student issues via the help desk to building and renaming of workstations and servers as needed. I have also assembled a computer class room which involved the labeling of all computers in the room and in Active Directory as well as the assembling of 20 computer work stations for the class rooms. My last work day for them was June 25, 2014.

Responsible for the training of all security personal for the all network security functions including vulnerability assessments, maintaining the firewall and intrusion detection for ANG NOSC. Supervised and updated individual Quarterly and Annual appraisals for eight technicians. Made sure that technicians were proficient in the following areas: Boundary Protection, & Vulnerability Assessment and Intrusion Detection. Manage and control classified communications this encompasses different types of hardware and software for the ANGEN. I update the technician time machine which is used for technician pay every two weeks. To include both hardware and software systems. I have also worked with A6 NGB in the area of assessing policy needs, reviews, revisions if necessary, and have developed different policies for the ANG enterprise which are then forward to my upper management and the NOSC review board for approval. I have also helped in the implementation of several IT & communication programs for the ANG NOSC.

Setup and established the Network Operations Security Center (NOSC) for the Kansas Air National Guard. This Center is responsible for Monitoring all Internet Traffic for all the Air National Guard units in the United States and Solving problems for the Regional repair sites as they are reported to the NOSC.

B-1B Avionics Test Station Component Technician 1993 - 2002

Organized, implemented and managed the Technical Library and Software filling system for the ATS shop.

Restructured the B-1B Precision Measurement Equipment Lab and made it more efficient.
