As a picker in the fastenal warehouse, picking for small QTY orders in this area boxes are opened & single

items are picked from box, in this area we are in a stationary area, each area has a work table, supplies,

boxes, tape, small totes, zip ties, computer, scanner, & a small racking area for all totes & boxes, each

station has a conveyor system, totes are conveyed right up to your work table, each tote has a barcode,

we scan that barcode, it tells us on the monitor of what the item is & how many to pick, we pick screws

washers, nuts & bolts, gloves, safety vest, small tools, many types of nuts & bolts drill bits, depending on

QTY & size, we put in thick baggies or small boxes or large boxes all boxes are taped closed, once picked

monitor then displays on what rack to put on, send picked tote on its way back to its storage location

automated system, the next tote to be picked from is conveyed up, repeat this process until picking is

done, then clean& report to shift lead.

80-90% of time,a order selector on cherry picker, used a reach for let downs pallets of product, select

card board bundles, palletize, receive orders from leads office, once order was complete, cover pallet

with card board dunnage on top, strap with strapping machine, stretch wrap, bring pallet to assigned

area, mark with pallet tags/sheets of customer, order # & product on that pallet, repeat this process with

co-selectors until all orders are complete, once orders are complete assist in cleaning duties, water&

change lift batteries. on occasion would load trailers, assist in new pallets of product put aways. work on

A steward at the Emerald Queen Casino has several responsibilities, my shift was 7am to 3:30 pm, there

are 4 stewards on dayshift, the first order of the day is to restock all canned & dry goods, restock the

produce cooler, all items have there own area, what ever there is room for fill it, all food items must

be properly rotated, first in first out, we restock for 3 different restaurants, main full size restaurant

american/chinese is in same area, stock deli department, stock vietnamese department, we would stock

until delivery of new shipment would arrive, once all pallets of product were unloaded, it was our

responsibility to put every thing to its proper location, > produce/meat/chill cooler, all fresh seafood has

its own cooler, frozen foods, a steward is on call at all times to retrieve any items any restaurant would

call for, < walkie talkies, assist in banquet/concert set ups, prepare see food on trays/totes.
