JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supporting the HSE manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policy, guidelines and procedures to ensure the department objectives are met
Provide support to project and operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues
Attend pre-task planning and client meetings as required on HSE matters
Provide support to the department on the implementation of company –wide HSE initiative such as OSHA 18001
Assist in the with developing HSE plans that comply with company policies and procedures as well as client requirements
Ensuring trainings, tool box talks and drills are implemented as part of companies onshore and construction HSE program i.e. emergence procedures
Investigate and complete the process of closeout of all accidents investigation report and submit HSE manager for promulgation to the management
Conduct HSE training and orientation to all new employees
Ensure all worksite are HSE compliance with company policies and safety standards
Support onshore and offshore HSE personnel in the development of work site HSE campaigns and good practices
Inspection of production equipment and processes to ensure that they are safe
Perform daily site visits and inspections and produce observation reports
Liaise coach contractors site supervision and HSE officer
Work close with contractors engineer and mentor them on processes and procedures
Inspection of all firefighting equipment
Stop any unsafe acts or process that seems dangerous or unhealthy
Advise management on the requirements of legislation
