DGP Project– Budget $2.5M – 22 Resources – Build Financial Management Tools to provide data integration with Financial applications. Build/ set up 17 servers for lower environments, setup Firewalls, Routing, Dataflow diagrams, and application support for CIBC.
Fusion Project – Budget $4.5M. 20 Resources. Build Payment Service Hub to process EFT/ACH and Integrated payments. Build 30 LDOMS (DEV, SIT, UAT, PTE/CONT /PROD, with iPlanet, WebLogic, MQ, batch jobs, perform migration test and support new environments
MPSO (Multi-Products Sales and Origination) -Release 1 & 2 System Enhancements - Budget $500K, 20 resources - allow frontline employees able to complete the sales and origination processes across multiple products using one system.
WebLogic Upgrade - SEC (Secure Electronic Communication) Upgrade - Budget $400K 15 resources - - required an upgrade to the SEC messaging engine (Core360) & deploy SEC in a dedicated database instance on the existing Oracle database servers to accommodate a parallel upgrade to Core360
MPSO (Multi-Products Sales and Origination) Maintenance Release - $400K, 12 resources - Maintenance releases of code deployment to MPSO(Multi-Products Sales and Origination ) and Retail Branch Sales in all environments (DEV, SIT, PRE-PTE, UAT, PTE, PROD, and CONT) to accommodate the changes Quarterly, Monthly and specific patch releases
MPSO (Multi-Products Sales and Origination) DR Execution - Budget $200K, 18 Resources. Disaster Recovery validation testing for Retail Branch Sales Offices involving end to end, web, application, database, batch, file transmission, etc. Contingency site handled live business transactions and then switched back to Production
IBM Canada Select Projects
WINTEL Server Refresh/ Rebuild Program: Manage the refresh/ rebuild of over 500 physical servers and 200 virtual servers with/ without SAN using Novell Platespin.
Network Switch Refresh Program: Migrate over 300 ports from 4x CISCO 4507 Network switches in 2 data centres with 100% execution success resulting in no SEV1 incidences and no impact to Sun Life business.
Upgrade Sun Life Mail Infrastructure: Upgrade and refresh entire Lotus Domino mail Infrastructure environment in 2 datacentres. Procure and deploy all required hardware (AS400 i-Series P770 servers, HMC consoles, SAN DS8700, tape drives, Network switches). Achieved seamless database migrations and integrations that were transparent to client customers, accomplished with no unscheduled downtime.
Domino Server Refresh Program: Manage the refresh/ rebuild of approx. 50 WINTEL servers with/ without SAN using Novell Platespin.
Lotus Traveler Project: Manage rollout of new iPAD lotus note application to SLF C-level executives (CEO, CIO, etc) that is scalable to 5,000 users. Procure and deploy servers and software.
Bell Media/ CTV Select Projects
SQL 2000 to 2005 Upgrade / Migration Project: Upgrade and consolidate 7 standalone SQL 2000 servers and 15 applications (web based and .NET) to SQL 2005 and new virtual development and production environment. Develop and determine HA backup and recovery process
Sybase Upgrade Project: Upgrade and consolidate 4 Sybase servers and 14 applications into 2 Sybase servers and 14 applications as well as set up HACMP.
Control Tower Project: Manage server upgrade and migration of CHUM’s accounting system Control Tower and DeltaFlex data warehouse system in 16 stations across Canada. Upgrade SQL 2005 to 2008 along with data conversion and OLAP changes.
Sybase Migration from VM servers to stand alone servers Project: Migration of 14 in house applications running on Sybase 15.3 from 14 Servers to IBM VM Ware servers with full failover capability.
VSTS/TFS - Source Code Integrity Project: set up new SQL VM servers to host the TFS (Team Foundation Studio) tool and migrate 35 applications from Source Safe to VSTS. This is a key initiative to enforce the CTV SDLC lifecycle process. This project laid out a 5-year road map that will lead to the transition of the way projects are managed and application development groups’ project deliverable and meet audit compliance. The tool interacts with Microsoft Project to provide project task, trend lines, audit reports, security of developer’s code, and control versioning.
