I am Guhan Kandasubramaniam, an experienced management consultant. I was the program manager for IBM’s Advanced Analytic Center for North America. I played various roles such as Director, Program Manager, Project Manager, Agile Coach, Business Transformation Leader, and an advanced SCRUM Master. I have more than 30 years of IT industry experience and managed several long-term programs for various industries including Aerospace, Banking, Investments, Medical technology, Telecommunications, and manufacturing.

As a consultant, I transformed an industry to Digital platform and managed their relevant projects. I was instrumental in implementing Machine Learning (Image processing) for an enterprise to convert their paper-based worksheets to online based applications.

July 2014 to December 2019

I managed Advanced Analytics projects for IBM’s North America Analytic Center for various clients in Media & Entertainment, Retail, and banking industries. I managed a major confidential program for The Boeing Co. I managed several programs and managed portfolios of projects for AmerisourceBergen (Medical Technology Supplies E- Commerce using SAP), NOVo Nordisk, and AT&T. I worked with several executives to decide on the projects based on priority and market demand. I managed budgets, plans, resources, and facilitated executive meetings. My significant contribution included in creating a process road map, planning, execution, and implementation of the automation of the ledger data feed from various accounting systems to the PeopleSoft General Ledger that improved the efficiency, data integrity, data security, data quality, and reduced the annual expenses on the process by 40%.

I managed implementation and integration of third-party applications such as Reval, FactSet, Eagle PACE, and PAM in Investment Systems to increase the efficiency in trade processing, credit research, portfolio analytics, performance measurement and attribution. I managed multiple Scrum teams and facilitated Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives. I worked as an assessment analyst for Y2K remediation done by the major consulting company in various client sites across the USA. I also managed a team of Y2K developers in Mercury Marine in Wisconsin and was instrumental in completing the remediation that resulted in zero defects.
