OBJECTIVE My goal is to be a Senior Maintenance Technician in a professional environment in the resort entertainment field located in Jupiter or Juno. I hope to use my skills to make contributions to a community that I reside in. My personal motivation is to support the technical and maintenance functions in a Resort or Condominium setting using my vast experience and learned techniques. I have knowledge of plumbing, carpentry and electrical systems including operation, repairs, and installations. I have over 40 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry.
2008 – present Senior Technical Specialist – Pratt & Whitney
Pratt & Whitney utilizes my skills in the areas of test operations, electrical, electronic and plumbing tasks. I perform all functions in maintenance and repair support for several groups including: SEV, telemetry, APU, and all engine test cells, commercial and military, throughout the world. My 23 years working at UTC has enabled me to understand all aspects of the company including all training modules such as health and safety and various administrative functions.
1999 - 2008 Service Engineer / VectorMark Group – Trumpf Inc.
The primary responsibility includes technical machine and operational problem solving for customers and Field Service Engineers, including an in-depth use of special software for scheduling of Field Service Engineers. Record updates and maintain necessary customer information upon completion of service calls. A working knowledge of many software packages including all Microsoft programs. Utilize remote diagnostics to assist customers to understand documentation, schematics, operation and machine repair. Working as required with minimal or no supervision.
1990 – 1999 Field Service / R&D Test Engineer –UTIL / Convergent Energy
Installed calibrated and integrated CO2 laser systems and tooling stations.
Modified programs for better process control, system operation and safety. Interact closely with senior engineers, design staff and technical personnel. Design industrial laser electrical systems and their associated MMI controls. Prepare operations and service manuals specific to each system and instructed operators and maintenance personnel in laser training classes. I have comprehensive computer skills with PLC controllers and PC controls. Program software includes: Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, Modicon, Steeplechase and Labview.
1984 – 1990 Senior Research Technician – United Technologies Research Center
Supervised specific Acoustic Wind Tunnel research experiments.
Configured test parameters and acquired data using two and three component laser Doppler Velocimetry equipment. Operated and calibrated various test equipment including: FFT analyzers, oscilloscopes, VAX computer systems, acoustical and photographic apparatus.
