Iowa State University Research Assistant – Robotics& Automation Laboratory (Jan – May 2016) Programmed and designed an autonomous robot with data acquisition and image processing skills for phenotyping plants. Used C++ to program the robot and integrated a GPS module to maneuver the robot autonomously to specific points. The robot can maneuver itself in the corn field and take pictures of the plants and relay it to the data center without any or no human intervention. Capgemini Consulting Software Engineer (Sept 2014 – July 2015) Part of the Software Testing Team and performed. Helped in coordinating the daily activities of my team. Performed SIT testing and QA testing and helped in timely delivery of the project. Served as a Point of Contact for the offshore team to the client. Autonomous robot for improved phenotyping

Developed a new autonomous robot for phenotyping the plants using image processing as a part of a team in Robotics and Automation Laboratory. The robot maneuvers autonomously using the path provided by the GPS with less or no human intervention. Helped with the image acquisition and maneuverability of the robot. The robot has a LASER for terrain mapping and a GPS module to maneuver the robot to the places programmed.

Smart Printer: Using Character Recognition

Designed and developed a handheld smart printer which can print characters by using character recognition technique for my Undergraduate Senior Design Project. We used MSP 430 processor as the controller and FFT to recognize the characters and type the characters using a thermal printer. It got selected for second round of Texas Instruments Analog Design Contest – India, 2014. System Design for an Autonomous Robot

Performed a High Level System Design for an Autonomous Robot and improved various features like efficiency and processing speed. Performed a Design Space Exploration for various parameters like Cost, Performance across various platforms available in the market.
