Colonial Mortgage is privately owned and is one of the few in the servicing business to hold a 4 star rating with FNMA. Colonial has a very diverse portfolio that includes investors such as USDA, FHA/VA, Credit Union and MPF loans. They have a currently pipeline of approximately 130,000 loans on the books.

Late Stage Default Manager

Manage production and servicing oversight for several areas of mortgage default including pre-foreclosure, property preservation, foreclosure, document execution, REO, Loss Analysis and Claims. Responsible for all investor audits both internal and external ensuring that all documentation is provided and collected as instructed. I have interacted with the OCC, HUD, FNMA, IA, FHLMC and our Credit Unions for all exception clearance and development of any remediation items. Attend quarterly Board Meetings to discuss reserves for distressed assets, discuss outstanding litigation and review any repurchase demands. Manage all policies and procedures to ensure all compliance updates are cared for. Attend all monthly investor calls for HUD, FNMA and FHLMC to address any timeline adherence issues before issuance of a compensatory fee and/or a curtailment of the MI claim.
