1993 - Jan 2000 Director - Ford Business Unit – Dual role: 1) Senior Management position responsible for strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, capital expenses, sales management, program management and engineering management, for all Ford Motor Company products on a global basis. 2) Global Product Manager for all Pedal Products for Teleflex. Significant achievement in 1999: successfully launched a new product to the auto market, Adjustable Pedals, $65 million in new product business, attendant with the Automotive News/Ernst and Young “Pace Award” and the Ford Motor Company “Customer Driven Quality Award”.

GENERAL MOTORS POWERTRAIN(GMPT)-AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ENGINEERING

1987 - 1993 Supervisor - GMPT Automatic Transmission Resident Engineers - Responsible for directing the work of four Resident Engineers at North American Truck Group. Coordinate planning with purchasing, financial, production readiness, production control, process and product engineering departments.

1982 - 1986 Manufacturing Liaison, GMPT Automatic Transmission Engineering - Generated solutions to product design problems related to stampings, castings (aluminum and iron) and machined parts. Maintained technical liaison between GMPT Transmission engineering and out-side parts suppliers.

1973 - 1982 Project engineering and technical liaison responsibilities related to Automatic Transmissions.
