The Company Profile: India's one of the leading provider of International
Telecommunications and Internet Services for corporate customers. Company
is providing various wire line services like basic telephony, Centrex
solution, ISDN PRI, Leased Line (Point-to-Point Link), MPLS VPN, Internet
bandwidth etc. for Enterprise & Premium customer
Responsible for First line diagnostics and troubleshooting of faults for
various customers. Act as 2nd point of contact for all incoming faults.
Faults may include site completely down, HUB to SPOKE reachability, site on
backup, routing issues, slow responses, packet losses, errors on the line,
and authentication, etc. Steps taken to resolve them consist of co-
coordinating remotely with the site contact to troubleshoot the issue,
forcefully bringing the site onto backup if primary network had failed,
investigating and troubleshooting the router configuration and routing
issues etc.
Emergency changes in the network to ensure uninterrupted services.
Fault including IVPN, MPLS VPN & L2 MPLS link. Creating new L2 path &
checking the response with them. Testing the L2 link with Virtual Circuit
break.
Troubleshooting on VRF's which has last mile protocol as e-BGP, OSPF, RIP,
EIGRP & Static routes as well.
Troubleshooting on wireless AP's (Proxim,Proxim 8150 and SMAC).
Design, setup and configure complex switching environment, VLAN creation
deletion, Trunking, Dot1q, various flavours of STP protocols.
Managing CE router for SIFY Managed customer where customer edge devices
are CISCO, D-Link, Juniper router & FORTIGATE firewall (FG-40C, 30C &
100C).
Telephonic/Mail co-ordination with respective ISP (TCL,TTML,MTNL,BSNL,RCOM)
for early restoration of Circuit.
Hands on experience on Fortigate 20c,40c Firewall.
Remote Access to Juniper, Huawei & Cisco Routers, switches for checking
connectivity till CPE (Customer Premises Equipment's).
Providing support to the end users, troubleshoot customer queries on
Transport Services Leased Lines & Data Services like L3VPN, Internet &
