As an accomplished professional with several years of industry experience coupled with my leaderships skills grained from sitting on several County boards/committees, I feel I'd be the perfect fit for the Human Resource Generalist position. My skills and training would add value to your organization,and I am excited for the opportunity to be a valuable contributing member of the team.

I encompass a broad skill set which I continue to hone. As a Sheridan College Alumni, I have attained an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration - Human Resources. This program allowed me to be exposed to my eventual area of focus as well as other crucial business functions e.g. Accounting, Finance and Marketing. I consider myself to be a personable individual - good natured and approachable. I practice excellent time management and am adaptable to different working situations. I am a social and easygoing person who is determined to accomplish any task that is assigned to me. I strongly believe that possessing these abilities/traits have directly impacted my ability to function as part of any collaborative team. Thus far I have enjoyed a progressive career in Human Resources. Commencing my career as a Human Resources Assistant and progressing to a Human Resources Generalist.

In 2011 I chose to take a leave from Human Resources to manage my household. Since 2014 I have been the sole proprietor of ACCE Photography and am please to say that I was recently a finalist for the Dufferin Board of Trade Business Excellence Award and was also nominated in several other categories.

I am also currently enrolled in courses aimed at upgrading my HR skills.

Over the past few years I have also become a community leader. I spearheaded many fund-raising initiatives geared towards families, for some of our much needed programs and services including: the breakfast program, Family Transition Place, autism services, Sick Kids and the Food Bank.

I am also someone who strives to be a role model for the youths in my community. I have been working with local leaders and politicians on providing programs in our local school. My goal is to help our younger generation benefit from opportunities that will help them excel educationally and build their confidence.
