Duties: One of six members of the travel team covering the Central New York region. Examines, diagnoses, and treats patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease. Orders evidence-based testing, prescribes medications and refers to outside specialist as required. Provides occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and the treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries (I will become DOT certified in July 2018). Performs pre-participation physicals for camps, sports and employment. Utilizes telemedicine platform to evaluate and treat patients off-site in addition to providing in person care. Maintains patient charts accurately and comprehensively. Documents patient information in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

2. US Air Force Reserves, 927th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, MacDill AFB, Tampa, FL.

Position: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant. Rank: Lieutenant Colonel.

Dates: 02-02-2018 to Present. Employment Status: Part-time.

Duties: Responsible for the medical readiness of an Expeditionary, highly deployable medical squadron of approximately 120 members to include immunizations, physical exams, combat/trauma-lifesaving skills training, disaster preparedness, and risk management.

3. Ocala Regional Medical Center/ West Marion Community Hospital, Department of Emergency Medicine. Position: Lead Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant.

Dates: 08-01-10 to 02-15-18. Employment status: Full-time.

Duties: Lead Physician Assistant out of 13 midlevel providers. Execute emergency medical care, under Physician supervision, for residents and guest of Marion County, FL. ORMC is a level II Trauma Center. Perform advanced medical procedures to include endotracheal intubation, chest thoracotomy, central line placement, lumbar puncture, joint injections, I&D’s, dental blocks, procedural sedation and analgesia, joint reduction, and others at the discretion of attending physician. Patient yearly census is approximately 60,000, with 60 percent of the time spent in main ED, 20 percent in triage, and 20 percent fast track.

4. Munroe Regional Medical Center, Department of Emergency Medicine. Position: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant.

Dates: 08-01-06 until 07-31-10. Employment status: Full-time.

Duties: Provide emergency medical care, under Physician supervision, for residents and guest of Marion County, FL. Perform advanced medical procedures to include endotracheal intubation, chest thoracotomy, central line placement, lumbar puncture, joint injections, I&D’s, dental blocks, procedural sedation and analgesia, joint reduction, and others. Engaged in training Physician Assistant students from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Critical Patients are mostly seen by emergency Physicians. Occasionally, PA’s may have to provide initial rescue measures until physician is available. Patient yearly census is approximately 90,000, with 70 percent of the time spent in main ED, and 20 percent in fast track clinic, and 10 percent Pediatric Clinic.

5. Florida Hospital Flagler, Department of Emergency Medicine. Position: Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant.

Duties: Provided emergent and non-emergent services for citizens and visitors in Flagler County. Main duties were performed in Urgent Care capacity. Patient yearly census is approximately 24,000 visits.
