physical therapy, etc.

result, I have been able to be more precise in the billing process as well

Managed office for busy orthopedic practice and physical therapy department
in two locations (Northridge and Newhall) - payroll, hire and train new
employees, reorganized office (when first hired). In addition, supervised
billing department - post charges, checks, rebilled denied insurance
claims, patient statements, secondary insurances, etc. Worked with front
office personnel on collecting what was due from patients (co-pay, co-ins,
deductibles, etc.)

Cal, private insurances, secondary insurances, and patients for balances
due. Also, re-billed all denied claims.
Although my resume highlights my medical billing experiences I am also well
qualified to assume the responsibilities of a medical office manager and/or
medical receptionist. I have worked in the front office answering phones,
scheduling appointments, filing, collecting and verifying insurance
information, co-pays, deductibles, etc. As billing became more
sophisticated I moved from the front office to the billing department
(insurances, collecting payments, reprocessing denied claims, etc.). I
eventually became an Office Manager/Billing Supervisor in charge of hiring
and training front office personnel.
