Loly & G Building Services. 2010 to present

Team leader for regional distribution center (120k sf) in Chino, CA, and commercial office building (88k sf) in Fullerton, CA. Under limited supervision, I order supplies for both facilities, maintain inventory of consumables, and clean the office and cafeteria in the distribution center.

Pacific Building Corp., 1995 to 2010.

Over 23 years of experience in janitorial, maintenance, and building services in all manner of properties across Southern California. Progressively greater responsibilities, often under limited or no supervision. Reliable, dependable, and sustained attention to detail.

Accomplishments include:

-- Promoted to supervisor and leader on account assessment teams, known as “Firemen.” In this role, I was assigned to rehabilitate janitorial services at troubled or complex properties. As a Fireman, I worked independently and quickly to observe and assess all process and practices at the property, design and implement best practices adopted to the site, and to issue a comprehensive report to management at conclusion of each assignment. I used a company car, hand-selected my teams, traveled all across Southern California, and always produced results.

-- Surgery Room cleaning supervisor and leader, including in-patient operations (such as heart and kidney transplants). To accomplish this work safely, I received extensive training on handling blood and other medical hazardous waste, as well as handling complex medical equipment. Our work had to be fast (operating rooms have a strict schedule), and perfect (for patient safety).

-- Clean Room team supervisor, including Class 10 clean rooms, at biomedical manufacturing sites. Responsible for team’s strict adherence to the highest company and government standards both outside and inside the clean rooms. Often we cleaned the entire room, including ceilings, chairs, walls, and equipment.

-- Supervised teams in Construction Cleaning at newly built homes.

-- Night crew janitorial for approximately 4 years

-- Day porter for approximately 6 years

Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience. Professional appearance and great communication skills. US Citizen with valid CA driver license. Drug and alcohol free. No criminal record. Capable of standing and walking for long periods of time in all types of weather. Able to lift 50 pounds, and to bend, reach, lift, and carry.
