Experience with IBM system 36, 38 and AS400. P7, P8 and P9. OS V7R2 V7R3

The scope of my tasks included configuration, monitoring, backup, capacity planning, performance tuning, patching, break fix, security, compliance, and disaster recovery for iSeries platforms.

Plans, schedules and performs proactive maintenance, including OS and 3rd party software upgrades, PTF installation and IPL of iSeries systems to ensure optimum performance levels

Responsible for maintaining compliance, participate and provide reporting for internal and external audits for iSeries systems.

Responsible for disk and software (Mimix) storage replication for disaster recovery.

Perform annual disaster recovery tests.
