6 Sigma Projects:

Reduced Rejections due to Less cushioning non conformances from 4000 PPM to <100 PPM level through DMAIC approach

Reduced bore rejections from 10000PPM to <100PPM level through DMAIC Approach Major tool used is Full factorial DOE

Optimization of plating & grinding parameters to meet the customer delight (Enhanced the life of plating in Piston rod by 60%)

Elimination of Bush pressing rejection through DMAIC approach, the major tool used is Binary Logistic Regression

Successfully completed Six Sigma Green Belt training and more than 30 Poka yokes implemented at supplier place.

Noteworthy Milestones:

Reduced the rejections & Rework from 20000 PPM to 100 at one of the Major Supplier through Six sigma approach.

Completely eliminated Thread Problems in all RTA/RTU Parts used in Loader crane cylinders.

3. Thai Summit Neel Auto Private Limited Unit is a joint venture company between JBM Group, India, and Thai Summit Group, Thailand. It is a Tier 1 Supplier to TVS Motor Company. Has obtained ISO/TS 16949: 2002, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999. This Unit – Manufactures and supplies Main Frames, Exhaust Systems and Petrol Tanks to TVS Motor Company ltd.

Senior Engineer - Supplier Quality Assurance from April 2006 to June 2008 (2 years)

Selected as a best QA Engineer and sent to Thailand for Tool Study for 3 Wheeler parts and received 50 tools with defects free.

Active Core team members in getting the certification of ISO/TS 16949:2002 in July 2006.
