Overall responsible for the management of agency payroll and benefits administration and with coordination with Financial Reporting for the impact in financial statements to address audit issues and company guidelines and issues related to agency force.

Develop, implement guidelines related to the needs of Advisors and support them in order to boost them in their selling career.

Supervises, leads, and supports eleven (11) staffs and more than 7,000 Financial Advisors.

Manages the accurate and timely disbursements of remuneration of sales associates and management, brokers and salaried agents of the life and pre-need businesses. This includes commissions, override bonuses, special payments, marketing bonuses, statutory and special deductions. Approves payroll of agents/advisors and other distributors. Ensures adequate controls are in place to safeguard company assets.

Interacts with Field Managers, Career Agents, other distributors and various operating departments (Sales and Marketing, Client Services, legal, product development, actuarial, IT, Treasury Management) in the company and the conduit banks to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing and crediting of agency remuneration. Responds to inquiries from management and distributors regarding production, commissions and bonuses.

Participates in reviewing and revising the agency remuneration package. Reviews business requirements for any major revisions or enhancements in the system and provides user testing support.

Recommends appropriate treatment and handling of special compensation arrangements, and adjustments on commissions and bonuses. Personally handles the processing of special compensation arrangements and other incentive related payments to sales associates and management and other distributors.

Provides senior and sales management teams with production-related reports for decision-making purposes.

Overall responsible for the management of intercompany reconciliation reports, as well as completion and monitoring of the consolidated functional cost templates per employee.
