Designed, built and commissioned a new user tool for making compositionally gradient libraries of nanomaterials for high-throughput material discovery. Developed a custom LabVIEW user interface for automated analysis and feedback control of process. Managed a 70k capital budget. The tool, described in Rev. Sci. Instrum., is available via general user proposal. Users of the tool have published in Nature Scienti c Reports for work on autonomous X-ray experiments. National Synchrotron Light Source II, Brookhaven National Laboratory Upton, NY

Fabricated and integrated a custom electrospray chamber into the Complex Materials Scattering beamline for in-situ X-ray studies of polymer lm growth. Co-wrote the proposal which was rated 1.15 on a scale of 1-5 (1 is highest). Programmed Python pipeline for raw image analysis, extraction of physical parameters and visualization of relevant trends. Analyzed self-assembled polymer thin lms using various microscopy techniques. Characterized images using deep learning and convolutional neural networks in PyTorch and Keras.
