Responsibilities Included:

Fine Dining:

Greet the guest with a sincere smile, eye contact, mention the name if the guest is known to you. Mention the position if possible.

- Ask the guest whether they have a reservation or for how many people.

- Lead the guest to the table.

- Pull the chairs or help them be seated.

- Get the waiter as quick as possible.

- Offer a drink.

- Present the menu and tell what are the specials. If the dishes are not available should not be suggested.

- Water should be served immediately followed by bread.

- Deliver the drinks as soon as it's ready.

- When taking the order, take the order first of a lady or the guest of honor.

- After 5to10 minutes, appetizer must be served, if not go back to the kitchen, check or follow up.

- After serving the appetizer, serve the next courses.

- After serving the dishes, go back to the table and check if everything is okay.

- After dishing-out all the plates and cutleries on the table, clean the crumbs, then offer the menus for the dessert.

- When the guest has nothing to order, go to the cashier, check the bills then close.

- When they are standing and about to leave, help them, ladies first, by pulling-out chairs and thank all of them for coming.

If the guest is known, mention His/ Her name.

Banquet:

- Set-up for events by putting table clothes and place settings, arranging table placement and setting up a buffet.

- Carrying plates of food on trays as serving guests.

- Keep glasses filled, removed each round of plates and replenish utensils.

- Perform cleaning task and breakdown of service.

- Maintain high standard of safety and cleanliness.

- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
