KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Actively involved in the pre-opening hotels manpower planning and achieved the subjective number of employees on expected time frame and inducted them to ensure their inception for the daily operation (Burj Al Arab hotel-1999, Jumeirah Babl Shams Desert Resort & Spa -2005 and Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Resort & Spa - 2012)

Company and its employees leveraged by opening own staff canteen for 1100+ employees and removed the outsourced catering company. This achievement has proven drastic increase in colleague’s satisfactory level and monthly payroll related expenses. (Includes workforce, equipment, commodities, license, budget, satisfaction survey, HSE & Hygiene certification, MEP, ducting and chiller etc.)

COS results:- the satisfaction level had been increased from 68% to 71% and from 71% to 73% (2013 and 2016 respectively)

Labor turnover % has been decreased from 22% to 20% by implementing many HR activities (HR Reach out, open door policy, CCC committee, HR engagement activities and maintain a partnered relationship)

Hotel staff gender ratio had been targeted and accomplished from 23% to30%

UAE Nationalization target over achieved 103% (40 colleagues and achieved 41 including 2 national graduates and 1 youth program)

Successfully accomplished CSR targets (such as hosting of elderly people and down syndrome children in the hotel occasionally, raise rice campaign, charity services, go green, recycling projects, beach cleanup, visit special need people etc.)

Consecutively achieved departmental KPI and hotel balance scorecard targets which had been reflected in employees incentives.

Ensured the target of 100% probationary appraisal completion and attend the Welcome/HR Orientation program (All new employees across the business)

Maintained positive rapport with the stakeholders and supplied sufficient manning.

Ensured the minimal overtime payment, reduced the lieu time and leave balance across the business.

Arranged the accommodation needs and ensured the facilities such as transport, cafeteria, prayer space, Internet, sports venues, library, mail boxes, clinic facilities, security assistance, room allocation, uniform room services, 24/7 emergency assistance, bank facilities, Ramadan arrangements and grocery vendors on site etc.)

Manpower Structuring & Recruitment

Plan and forecast Org. manpower needs, announce job vacancies, source high caliber applicants.

Develop and prepare interview guides, manage interviewing process and assist managers with the hiring procedures, update internal online vacancy lists.
