Screen candidates sourced (Junior, Middle, Senior Level) and ensure their fitness to the position requirements and validate their motivation to consider Barwa Bank.
Review mapping or list of potential candidates CVs to business units for assessment, interview and their feedback.
Arranging for advertising of job vacancies, interviewing and testing of applicants and selection of staff
Maintain and develop a solid application database of all CV’s received from various means and classify the applications by assessing the qualification and experience to ensure easy reference and accessibility.
Maintain database for candidates endorsed by Ministry of Labour & Social Affairs and ensure to keep it updated.
Maintenance of highest level of internal and external confidentiality
Reference checking, salary negotiation.
Issuing offer / appointment letter/employment contract.
Psychometric Test/Skill Assessment
Receive, evaluate and classify CVs by rating, ranking of applicants, and skills/competencies.
Prepare and/or supervise the preparation of the final list of applicants for selection purposes within the framework or requirements of Barwa Bank Human Resource (HR) Policy and Procedures.
Testing of applicants to ensure the best selection of staff
Liaise with recruitment agents the available vacancies by sending through email the job requirement with the approved Job Description and Job Specifications.
Reviews the candidates profiles endorsed by recruitment agents and provide them with initial assessment.
Maintains good relationship with all candidates, employees and external clients
Maintain high standards of confidentiality to protect sensitive information.
Works with the Hiring Manager to prepare the job description and ensures proper procedures for review and approval are met at the department level.
Ensure to provide the Job Description to the new employee/s upon joining as part of the joining formalities.

Candidate On-Boarding / Joining Formalities
Confirm the candidate’s joining date and communicate the official working hours, work place, parking, dress code and etc.
Inform the Hiring Department and Human Resources the details of the new joiner and request email access, pc and telephone to IT, workstation and stationaries to Administration.
Be available to greet the employee on the first day and introduce employee to others in the workplace.
Provide the new joiner with the necessary documents as part of the joining formalities such as joining report form, employee information form, access card, finger print for attendance, Code of Conduct and Job Description).
Explain policies, procedures and benefits to a new employee which are not mentioned in the employment contract
Provide department or building-specific safety and emergency information.
Endorse the new joiner to his Line Manager and obtain signatures on the joining forms.
Communicate with overseas candidates the approved work visas and finalize their joining dates.
Provide travel itineraries to overseas candidates such as tickets, hotel accommodation, transportation and etc. while ensuring that the same are well coordinated and organized.
Probation Management System
Review the line managers feedback of all new joiners on monthly basis.
Follow the performance of new joiners till confirmation of the probation period.
Filling & maintenance of employee personal records.
Address Verification of new employee.
Uploading and maintaining employee records in HR-Oracle
Uploading Employees Documents in EDMS.
Prepare all the required documents and necessary letters to obtain approvals from CID, Ministry of Labour and Immigration for the candidate.
Provide the government relations team the Arabic job title of each new candidate for the visa application.
