COVER LETTER

Dear Voice Up Staff,

I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity to intern with Voice Up and contribute to your mission of promoting sports advocacy and storytelling. As a psychology student with a passion for coaching and personal growth, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful sports can be in shaping confidence, teamwork, and resilience. Through my work at a sports complex and as a youth soccer coach, I’ve learned how to connect with people from different backgrounds, communicate with empathy, and turn challenges into moments of growth. I’m talented in motivating others, resolving conflicts, and creating meaningful experiences that help people feel heard and supported. I want to bring those same skills to Voice Up, using creativity, communication, and authenticity to build portfolio projects that give athletes a voice and shed light on the deeper impact sports have beyond the game. This opportunity feels like the perfect way to combine my love for sports, psychology, and helping others into something that truly makes a difference.

Academic information: Looking for a minimum of 6 hours a week but open to more. Also looking to start Second week of January 2026 and must go through End of April/Early May but open to working longer.

Sincerely,

Tyson George
