PROJECT REPORT:

Topic:-Partial replacement of cement and fine aggregate by ceramic powder and copper slag in cement.

Conclusion: - 1.From the above studies it is found that there is increase in compressive strength up to 40% replacement with ceramic power and copper slag and by further increase in percentage of copper slag the strength was found to decreased 2. Split tensile strength was found to be increased up to 20% of replacement and Further the strength was started to decrease

SCOPE: - There is a large quantity of carbon dioxide released in the cement production so ceramic waste and copper slag can be used as an alternative. The scope of this study aims at manufacturing concrete of considerable strength by using waste ceramic tiles as partial replacement of cement and copper slag partial replacement with fine aggregate.

Replacement of cement with ceramic powder was done in 5% each and fine aggregate with copper slag of 20%, 40% and 60% and these would lead to considerable environmental benefits and would be economical.
