As a mainframe consultant I have provided technical expertise at all levels of project life cycle, from requirement gathering to system implementation with outstanding success and commitment to project completion. Called back by Boston Edison to assist the billing team in debugging the system following a large and unsuccessful enhancement. Subsequently worked on data clean-up to prepare for the merger with NSTAR. I took on the responsibility of restoring the charges, credits and fees for over 500,000 accounts affected by the unsuccessful enhancement. Completed in depth analysis, debugging and restoration of credit application modules. Developed diagnostic programs to ensure data integrity and consistency. This assignment required expertise in data architecture, system analysis and debugging. Also involved in production support, resolving over 100 recurring on-call issues.

Developed a system referred to as Machine Level Planning. This system automated work

control flow for cutting and shaping steel in the early stages of aircraft carrier building. Designed to automate the routing of material to appropriate work centers by examining the material attributes and navigating a complex network of tables associating material attributes with logical paths. The result of this process was the complete elimination of user intervention in the routing material to work shops. Also developed an enhancement to CAS Scheduling System to bring material scheduling from header to item level for the purchase and manufacturing order.

Participated in the implementation of first phase of the power utility deregulation. Provided instrumental involvement to the successful completion of the project. Assisted in developing a LU6.2 link between CAS and Shop Floor Control systems residing on two different platforms.
