Was DCS and CLS, worked with severely mentally handicapped individuals from teenage to senior adult who required 24 hour care, and also worked with highly functioning mentally handicapped adults who lived on their own, in their own home, paying their own bills, I just went in 6 out of 7 days for 8 hours a day every other day and 4 hours on the other days, to assure clients were taking care of them selves and eating, I would clean and transport to the doctor for visits, and meet any other needs the individual had that wasn’t already being met. After 2 years in this position I was promoted to property manager and maintained that role until closing of the company. I managed multiple properties, duplex and multi plex units as well as single family homes and group homes. I overseen individual property managers and maintenance for all units and assured that as a group we could keep all client and tenant files up to date and recertifications done in a timely manner. Kept a log of all property residence and maintained a low vacancy rate. Managed budgets that were severely limited at times and stayed within those constraints. Hired and fired house managers and maintenance staff and assured 100 percent safety of all properties were priority.
