I was a printing press assist operator, I was responsible for starting up maintaining and producing quality product (chickfila) from a kamori 32 inch press. This is a huge 200 yard machine that has a crew of 6 people that I was responsible for making sure they were completing daily tasks. I moved up fast the job I held used to take years to obtain but with hard work, dedication and over 500 overtime hours a year in training I was able to obtain the position in just 18 months one of the fastest ever. I loved this company but with a merger and complete change in management and schedule made it impossible to stay.

CARGO DELIVERY SERVICES

jANUARY 2019 – april 2021

I was solely responsible for making custom crucial, and time sensitive deliveries all over the country. I expedited freight for various large companies in the area. I also delivered custom furniture and installed it in numerous upscale properties and businesses. I learned many problem-solving techniques and communication skills from being on the road for days at a time. I also improved my coordination skills with setting up and executing deliveries.

March 2009 – December 2018

Supervisor responsible for yearly and seasonal maintenance on 75 upscale properties. I was given a list of responsibilities each morning and expected to complete every task. Also asked to make judgement on any other problems that needed to be addressed while on property. I headed up the landscape installation team, where I was given blueprints and installed plants, retaining walls, irrigation, outdoor lighting, and others. While working for McMahan services I attended many certification classes for irrigation, pesticide, herbicide, and landscape contractor’s licenses at different extension offices in NC.

January 2006 – February 2009

I started off at Ideal Italia as my first job and in this time I learned a lot about working fast and efficient. I worked on the production line building different types of dressers and mirrors. I moved around a lot to help pick up slack where needed. I also volunteered to work overtime in shipping and receiving.
