Internship at Catholic Charities Diocese of Fort Worth for two semesters 2012. Provided direct services to mental health populations. Conducted Psychosocial assessments and prepared treatment plans which are operational and measurable in conjunction with client goals. Provided case management services, conducted comprehensive needs assessment and service planning. Entered client data and compiled reports.

Internship at Girls Incorporated of Tarrant County one semester 2011. Facilitated groups, prepared lesson plans. Designed, wrote and established the Lake Como Case Management System for Miss End’s Christian Academy, a partner of Girl’s Incorporated of Tarrant County. Developed service plans and ensured that needs of clients were made.

Annual work with Pearson’s Educational Solutions Division in Dallas scoring of statewide TAKS tests for various grade levels: 5-month assignment from Feb. – June, 2005 to 2011. Supervised teams of 10 –12 assessment scorers for TAKS 9th Grade Projects, TAKS 7th Grade Project, Michigan Project, and Field Tests. Managed (6) six-month Summer Food and Reading Program from 4/2002 – 10/2002 for low income, at-risk children at various churches throughout the city of Dallas. Directed daily activities, staff scheduling and/or assignments at (34) thirty four sites. Oversaw budget and program operations for employees and volunteers. Balanced and allocated grant funding as budgeted, and ensured that each center met program compliance and financial goals. Program Manager/Country Representative: CUSO (Canadian International Not for Profit Organization). CUSO - Tanzania, Africa 1994 -2002. Primary responsibility was to originate, negotiate, and manage projects and programs. Prepared country wide program project plans, prepared annual budgets, and negotiated/secured funding from donors to maintain main CUSO projects, the Hunters’ and Gatherers’ Project. Managed The Small Projects Fund. Managed the CUSO Volunteer Program. Wrote a grant proposal for National Policy Implementation and Prevention of HIV/AIDS in Tanzania. Wrote grant proposals for Hunter and Gatherer Program and received funds to implement the program for six years.
