IDP is an international education organisation offering student placement in Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, and Canada. They are the also the co-owner along with the British Council, of the world’s most popular English proficiency test- IELTS (International English Language Testing System), which is undertaken by students from all over the world to enrol in overseas universities.

My role as a Clerical Marker involves accurate marking of the Listening and Reading sections of the test, in strict accordance with all relevant IELTS policies and procedures. We are required to do both paper marking as well as online marking/correction of IELTS exam.

Aug 2014-May 2016: Homemaker & avid traveller (Not working)

Travelled to New York, USA with my husband. He was on a business trip and so I travelled around the city all by myself and exploring the culture, their lifestyle and admiring the natural and man-made beauty of New York.

Travelled to Graz, Austria with my husband. Again he was on a business trip so I went out exploring the small and unheard of, beautiful city all by myself. It would just be me and the city map as my guide, and I would travel around fearlessly, confidently admiring the landscapes and nature of Graz. Being in a place like Graz where people mostly spoke in German, it was slightly hard however my confidence and adventurous attitude did not stop me from roaming around the city during the day, while my husband was away for work.

I am also an amateur yoga practitioner who practises yoga regularly at home. Having learnt yoga during my college days I possess a flexible body that enables me to perform complex yoga postures. I find yoga as a great form of exercise which helps me relax, stay fit and connect with myself.
