Originally the only BA/QA/Tester, initiated the company’s Quality Assurance Department to support a very large complex web based SaaS business management application. The System enables franchisees to manage their entire business process end-to-end. It has functional components / modules that address employee and customer management (CRM), product management, scheduling, integrated payroll (ADP) and billing (Microsoft Dynamics.)

Over time, budgeted for, grew and managed a 9 member QA Team comprised of local and off-shore members.

Initiated, wrote and maintained Quality Assurance test environment software / hardware standards; requirements traceability standards and defect triage procedures.

Originally a manual only QA Department, initiated, provided proof of concept documentation and implemented automated System and Regression testing, including hardware and virtualization requirements, across a broad spectrum of continuously evolving projects.

Wrote and managed complex test to requirements matrix documentation for all internally developed and integrated 3rd party software applications ensuring flexibility and reusability as requirements changed. Used Sharepoint to to store, organize and collaborate on project documentation and change requests.

A healthcare payer platform, Viant provided third party administrator (TPA) insurance cost management solutions. Worked extensively with ANSI Standard 834 PBM / 837 Claims data sets and client proprietary formats. Performed backend manual and automated testing and the supporting manual GUI verification testing on a large web based SaaS application.

As the Project Senior QA Analyst, led a QA Team consisting of 2 manual testers and 2 automation testers.

Working closely with external Clients, Business Analysts and Developers to document user stories which were then developed as business flows, delivered 9 iterations on-time, within budget and with no attributed software defects.

Accurately, within 10%, and consistently estimated the level of effort for new enhancements ensuring Line of Business Owners had reliable time lines and work effort traceability across numerous integrated projects / tasks.

Redesigned, verified and input test data resulting in a decrease in time required to perform / review application automated regression test sequences by 70% and increasing coverage by 33%.

Primary project was the initiation of the company’s SaaS web based ‘consumer store’ medical insurance application to acquire a large internet footprint. After a successful 'roll-out' was then assigned as Test Lead for a distributed Point of Sale (SaaP) office management application for independent insurance agents.

Initiated and managed a paradigmatic shift, integrating local manual and previously separate offshore automated testing efforts into an overall test strategy. The resulting System Integration and Regression test cycles documented a 75% reduction in test redundancy and increased the automation coverage by 25%.
