Present Day
DST Bluedoor (Software Developer) (UK & Australia)
Within DST Bluedoor, I have the task to implement and enhance the Bluedoor system for the UK client sector.
Currently, I am mentoring a team of three, by designing and guiding system changes to coincide with the system’s core logic.
Working with software that handles the superannuation and pension market, I have gained an insight into how the industry works and executed improvements that our client has requested for.
01/05/2014 - 01/09/2014
Boots, London City Airport (Acting Assistant Manager) (UK)
After showing potential in the previous Boots store, I was given the opportunity to progress my career as an Assistant Manager to help build and develop a new store that was about to open.
I stepped up to challenge and proved on a daily basis I was ready for role of Assistant Manager.
When the store first opened, head office gave us a small target for the first week but within the first day, we took half of the week’s expected takings. Taking control of the situation, I led the team to a new stock operations process that was able to keep up with the high demand, that kept our consumers returning to a store they could trust.
The reason for leaving the role, was due to the opportunity to go into working within the software development industry.
22/07/2013 - 27/09/2013
Predator Software LTD (Lead Programmer) (UK)
After graduating from university, I was given the opportunity to join a company that had just started up. I attained the role of Lead Programmer and worked on a game called “Save the Creatures” (which is available to download from the Google Play Store). Here I programmed in C# using the Unity game engine.
The company collapsed due to the company not having enough money to carry on paying its employees.

Boots, Lakeside Shopping Centre (Part-Time Sales Assistant) (UK)
The main responsibilities include performing a high standard customer service by making sure the customer is satisfied with their visit to the store.
The skills that I have gained from this were performing a job at a higher standard than what would be expected by a customer.
During July 2010 - August 2010, I took on the role as a full time Operations Assistant, where I attended the store before opening hours and ensured the transfer of all chilled products into the fridges. I was also accountable for the cleanliness and the reporting of any maintenance problems that occurred with the fridges. If any had taken place, I had to work swiftly to solve them, circumventing the issues to ensure no loss of stock or trade. From this I enhanced my time keeping skills due to the short amount of time was allocated in working with each thermo-container and also enhanced my problem management skills.
From September to October 2011, I assisted in the training of staff at the Westfield store in Stratford. This involved me travelling to the store and making sure everyone knew what they were doing and ask any questions that needed answering.
Christmas 2012 to the end of my time here, I was asked to help support and manage a section of the store which contained the tills and photo counters. My duties included, handling staff by making sure they completed their tasks at the right time, supporting colleagues and help to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
Skills
The skills I have to offer are good communication, team work and also completing the job that is assigned to me in the agreed allocated time. I am also quick to adapt to new and developing situations at work.
I also have general knowledge of Microsoft Windows suite products, Visual Studio, Photoshop, Illustrator, Autodesk 3ds Max and Unity.
Within the Visual Studio suite, I have mainly used VB.Net, C# and C++ in the preparation of my university studies and working career.
Within Unity, I have coded in Javascript and C#. I have also created a mobile game for Android with this course.
Key Projects
The projects I have worked on during my time at Bluedoor, include; an interface payload system that communicates to third party products/services, an aggregated account fee calculation function and setting up workflows for users wanting to do tasks that relate to a particular workload assignment.
