Application Owner / Technical Program Manager

I help manage the portfolio of third party applications used throughout CCB DCE. This

Included externally hosted applications. The use of these applications speed up market delivery of Chase.com prototypes and designs. The applications also survey Chase.com customers. Managing these applications include Risk Assessments, and yearly application Attestations, as well as managing all breaks that may arise for the applications. I also Manage Monday.com for the CCB LOB.

Technical Program Manager role was added in 2025. Responsibilities include leading the Trust and Security teams efforts to make their platform self-service. This effort includes creating and maintaining new relationships, creating project plans for offsite meetings with Senior Management, tracking and reporting open items from the offsite to completion.

Application Support Analyst, January 2019 - December 2021

My responsibilities included supporting the day to day operations for the File Transfer Team, which includes, monitoring file transmissions that are in an error state, diagnosing file transfer and protocol errors, monitoring and handling the tickets that come into the queue, pull SQL data, and assisting customers with setup errors that occur, interfacing with various Application support teams and Lines of Business to help drive and resolve issues.

My duties also include contacting and driving resolutions from our vendors, and communicating with various levels of management regarding solutions and limitations of what can be done in accordance with Chase standards.

Infrastructure Engineer, January 2018 - December 2019

My responsibilities included supporting 3rd party vendor application from IBM including Sterling Secure Proxy, Control Center, Sterling External and Authentication Server. These applications run on UNIX and Windows platforms. I also support file transfers throughout the firm that use NDM / Connect Direct. This involves communicating with all lines of business at all levels to ensure that the file transfer applications are at the current bank standards and are using Secure +. I also look for ways to save the bank money as well as those that we support by getting rid of unused application.

My responsibilities included the end to end management, communication and facilitation of outages, maintenances and any application/system events that have the potential to impact CCB or their customers.

Application Support Analyst, January 2013 - December 2016

My responsibilities included being the Team Lead for the North America Legal and Compliance L1.5 Operate Team. My duties also include supporting 40 application using various tools such as SQL, Oracle, Control-M, Tidal, and Autosys job schedulers. Acted as the focal point for several Compliance applications which included coordinating weekly meetings with the Application and Business managers for those applications. My responsibilities also include approving and assigning resources for changes, coordinating Holiday and Weekend coverage for the Team, sending communications for issues that may arise with various applications and working with various support groups to resolve issues. My duties also include monitoring applications, executing UNIX scripts, Windows 2008 server administration for applications and running batches for applications and writing Disaster Recovery scripts, coordinating Disaster Recoveries, and Grading Disaster Recovery test.

My responsibilities included approving changes that impact the CIG LOB, setting up timelines of changes that occur on the weekend for the weekend day and night shifts, managing production P1 problem calls for the CIG technical staff and users that call in production issues, well as working with other LOBs to determine the level of impact the problem tickets should be by going through Database logs and performing basic SQL queries. My duties also include helping to plan the staffing for three shifts during Enterprise Releases. Work with Internal and External Business Partners to setup TCPIP connections both secure with encryption and unsecure for file transfers.

Process FTP/SSH encryption request for internal users.

Support SNA connections from various external customers.

My role also calls for me to look for cost savings where possible. Over the last 2 years, I have successfully rehosted two instances of NDM into a third, saving over 200k per month in License fees. I have also worked with the Federal Government to move file transmission off of the Bulk Data application which resulted in saving over 300k per month with the project.

Responsibilities include: installing and maintaining 3rd party vendor products; providing oncall problem support for communication issues; serving as mentor to new global members of the team to expedite their integration into the team; and setting up and supporting subarea networks in an SNI environment, as well as APPN systems. Also assigned to the development and implementation of projects to increase productivity and to enhance leverage of team members to support over 100 LPARS for various clients.

Participated as lead technician in migration of two client data centers from the client site to Pittsburgh, PA. Ensured thorough transfer of knowledge and documentation, assisted in the evaluation of the client network, created the VTAM definitions, and integrated the client system into ACS environment.

Supported the migration of the operating systems from MVS 5.2.2 to OS390 2.8 and 2.10, troubleshooting problems and upgrading products to supported levels. Currently assisting in preparing for the upgrade of the system to Z/OS.

Created Disaster Recovery Procedures and Documents for systems to ensure successful DR exercises. Setup VTAM definitions to communicate from the Disaster Recovery site to the client site.
