PROJECT
Final year : Performance & Emission characteristics of an Four
Stroke Single cylinder Diesel Engine fuelled with Cashew Nut
Shell Liquid (CNSL) along with oxygenates (DPE & DMC).
Description: The performance of the diesel engine improved along
with reducing in its exhaust emission by using cashew nut shell liquid
(CNSL) Blended with oxygenates (DPE & DMC) at 5% & 10% as fuel instead of
using diesel fuel . The Viscosity of CNSL oil is reduced by the method of
pyrolysis.
