Mission Statement

As a Superintendent/Construction Manager/Project Manager I am to successfully plan, execute and supervise construction projects from their commencement through total completion. To represent myself and the company in a professional manner while demonstrating the efficiency of our organization to all customers, subcontractors, vendors and other team members.

Responsibilities

Fully responsible for construction sites 24/7 regarding safety, security and other related circumstances.

Plan, direct and coordinate all sub-contractor activity on our construction sites; assisting in the selection of new or established subcontractors and vendors, assisting in negotiating and preparing subcontracts and ordering and monitoring all materials and supplies.

Responsible for job completion within scheduled time-frame, strict adherence to budget while insuring the proper procedures and requirements are performed.

Develop, maintain and if need be, modify the Project Schedule. Responsible for admin of any field paperwork, including approvals, proper signatures and documentation as needed.

Work closely with other professionals including subcontractors, vendors, building officials, architects, engineers and other design professionals.

Interpret and professionally explain plans and contract terms to clients, subcontractors, and vendors as the need dictates.

Inspection and review all construction sequences and steps performed to insure quality assurance requirements are in compliance with local building and safety codes, and other statue regulations. Monitor, witness, and documentation of all CAS and MEP inspections and testing for contractual compliance per plans and specifications. Document, prepare, log, and track all non-conformance issues to final mitigation or resolution.

Responsible for managing and monitoring plan and contract scope changes, negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Ability to anticipate potential issues early in the process and work directly with clients and any support from internal and external resources to proactively resolve these issues/challenges in a positive manner through the RFI process, avoiding negative results.

Complete all project closeouts by performing any required or needed site walks, punch list item completion, all document and file close-out and proper storage and details of project photos.

Train and develop construction employees consistent with Company policies for job functional tasks. Develop and administer the site utility plan, site services, security arrangements, safety program, and other facilities and arrangements as necessary for appropriate services to the overall construction effort.

Prepare and provide thorough Project Schedules, Daily Reports, RFI's and Logs, Delay Logs, Change Orders and Logs, Back-Charge Notifications, Sub and Vendor notification documents, and any and all other special documentation as may be determined by the Company and by project needs.
