i) M.Tech Thesis:

Title: Simulation of Securing the IoT Devices in Low Power and Lossy Networks using Reactive Discovery Algorithm


The Internet of Things is the interconnection of constrained devices with the Internet. IoT networks are prone to various security attacks. The Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman key exchange algorithm is applied to the RPL protocol of 6LoWPAN networks in IoT. The proposed method is lightweight implementation providing secure communication in the network. The simulations have been carried out using Contiki Operating system and Cooja simulator which serves for low power and memory constrained IoT devices.

ii) B.E Project:

Title: Novel impulse detection for filtering of gray images Description:

Impulse noise removal in digital images is an important pre-processing step as images are often corrupted by impulse noise due to a noisy sensor or transmission errors. A new novel impulse detector is presented which removes low to high level of salt and pepper impulse noise from both gray scale and colored image using MATLAB. The results suggest that this scheme performs significantly better than already existing median based filters. Publications:
