Construction Manager, San Francisco Transbay Terminal Project 2016 – 2018

Provide site leadership, superintendency, and quality control on major civil works project for a sub-contractor with complex $6mil scope. Hire and Direct lower-tier contractor personnel, plan and manage the workface, coordinate design changes, ensure situational awareness at remote company headquarters.

PROJECT RESOURCES COMPANY (PRC), CHEVRON USA Inc

Construction Manager, USA and Overseas 2011 - 2015

Four years experience with a major petroleum producer in their project management group for major capital projects (projects greater than $500M) as Construction Manager

•Fabrication Manager for three projects ($450m) in an Angolan fab yard 2013 – 2015

Steel racks and structures, piping, and pipeline. Served as Senior QC and Safety Manager. Only site to provide major deliverables under a $6bil portfolio on time.

•Productivity Advisor for Major Capital Projects 2011 - 2013

While assigned to Chevron Project Resources Company’s Construction Management Center of Excellence: Wrote, reviewed, and presented Intellectual Property; inspected and planned MCP construction Productivity implementation and improvement.

Assessed, planned, and improved Productivity practices for a $1.4B refinery rebuild.

UNITED STATES ARMY

Served in increasingly responsible positions as an army officer and soldier.

•Five years as a Leader of Army Civil Affairs units (Social/Civil Infrastructure)

•Directed the U.S. construction program for rebuilding western Afghanistan

•Planned and executed 158 engineer missions in a war zone with zero fatalities

•Managed 95 member staff in execution of 56 concurrent projects valued at $280M Steel-frame police stations, military facilities, school buildings, clinics.

•Developed for Central Command a set of new construction designs for Afghan-centric facilities permitting project completion in half the time and at half the budget

Resident Engineer, Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Moffett Field, Calif 2009

Construction Manager for Armed Forces Reserve Center at Moffett Field ($85mil) Steel-frame two-story office building and supporting warehouse and maintenance buildings.

Project Manager, US Army Special Operations Command 2003 - 2009

•Managed 4 major vertical and infrastructure construction projects ($83M) and 13 design- phase projects in support of four commands ($338M)

•Coordinated construction and facilities needs with four subordinate commands, Army base staff, and the Corps of Engineers. Steel-frame flight ops, office, residential, and support facilities.

•Served as Group Engineer for Special Forces Group during multiple deployments

•Produced the Command’s first facilities master plan

•Supervised maintenance and repair of Command’s 52 facilities with six direct reports and a budget of $1.4M
