During the 17 years at Dis-Chem, I was actively involved in store development and opening of new stores. Namely; Northgate, Boksburg North, Farramere, Parkmeadows, Secunda, Heidelberg and Springs. Responsibilities included design of store layouts and defining optimal stock placement for merchandising. I actively defined stock levels and placed the necessary pre-opening orders on the warehouse and suppliers. Managed the teams that were utilised to open the store. Liason with Directors on store opening progress. Adherence to deadlines as defined by the project plan.
