Design for Manufacturing (DFM) 3D rendered parametric modeling. Analytical problem solving through operational use and inspection. Rework/change/redesign and improve. Cost pricing of production injection molds. Vendor procurement and material selection best suited for each part. Back engineer and redesign of components to improve and strengthen design. AutoCAD 2D and 3D Orthographic / Isometric rendering of sketches, drawings and plotted blueprints or build sheets including exploded assembly sheet and Bill of Materials. 3D printed prototype parts and fitment. Use of digital calipers, micrometers and measurement tools in design including use of 3D laser surface capturing scanners. Produce part prototypes taken from engineer’s or inventor’s concept sketches, produce AutoCAD/Solid works 3D computer renderings, to finished working 3D printed prototype. After successful testing and fitment, 2-part mold design and sent out to CNC machining for injection mold. ABS and polycarbonate plastic production final produced parts. Package design and shipping.
