Dealers Wholesale, Indianapolis, IN 09/2017 – PRESENT Human Resources Manager

Lead all aspects of the HR function in manufacturing plant with 75 FTEs, plus contract labor, with no direct reports. Assure compliance with applicable law through policy administration and organizational training such as ADA, FMLA, EEO, OSHA, WC, etc. Conduct investigations and proactively resolve conflicts.

Evaluated and switched payroll and HRIS system to work together for HR and payroll, which resulted in cutting down time spent on bi-weekly payroll by 30%. Also added in the tracking of attendance from paper to computer which resulted in time savings of 15% from HR/payroll.

Redesigned orientation and onboarding process and program resulting in new hires spending their time more efficiently by knowing where they would be during their new hire timeline.

Human Resources Manager – Contract position

Lead all aspects of the HR function in 250,000 foot distribution warehouse with 150 FTE, with 100 on site and 50 spread across 16 different states, with one direct report. Performed all HR functions including training, employee relations, recognition programs, benefits, etc.

Entered a company that was lacking HR organizational effectiveness due to being without HR for a while. Rolled out a new attendance policy that was based on points which resulted in the cut down of attendance abuse by 20%.

Took control of unemployment which had not been done previously and everyone was getting it. Made sure to respond in a timely manner, with proof. Cut unemployment by 95%.
