Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT Lead – Control Systems)

■ Used efficiently and proactively, in a daily basis, the tools of integration of Scope, Time, Costs, Quality, Human

Resources, Communications, Risk Management, Procurements (contracts and purchasing), and Stakeholders

knowledge areas into the Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitor & Control, and Closing project processes groups. Lead actively all the Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) involved in my projects to define, plan, monitor, control and deliver managed changes (including new solutions) in order to meet all agreed stakeholder requirements successfully for both military and commercial engines.

■ Established strong and effective relationships with stakeholders, also assuring the high quality of interaction with all levels and different areas of management, supporting a healthy and strong teamwork environment.

■ Performed continuously CAM duties for multiple RRC Programs including LW (Liberty Works), achieving a cost reduction of $500K on a development military project for LW.

■ Continuous submittals of MCS packages, eSOWs, P.O.s, and proposals via FileMaker Pro. WBS creation as part of all this process. Proficient in MS Project 10 & 13, and in performing schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis in conjunction with IMS (Integrated Master Schedule) updating and management.

■ Conducted regularly efficient and accurate EVMS analysis for reporting Milestones driven projects. Used as additional tools such as Integrated Product & Production Readiness (IPPR, limited), and Production Product Approval Process (PPAP).

■ Successfully lead TRENT1000 –TEN Program from early gates thru DDPs (Declaration of Design and Performance) following PDS (Product Developing System) to assure best practices and compliance.

■ Completed 1st stage of Agile project using Scrum as IPTL (T4 AHE Software Update) successfully on time and within budget, gaining the customer’s trust to grant the assignment of the 2nd stage to our highly capable software/systems engineering team.

■ Lead military cost reduction project for Rolls-Royce’s Corporation as the customer. These projects required:

Weekly project schedule, budget, including EVMS analysis for status reports to Rolls Royce Corporation (USA) and Rolls-Royce Derby.

Daily interaction with suppliers overseas and USA continental.

Scope management.

■ Successfully managed and lead the progress of MRL (Manufacturing Readiness Level) and TRL (Technology Readiness Level) for such projects in conjunction with the IPT.

Project Engineer III

■ Executed effectively and successfully several multidisciplinary projects (Structures, Design, Heat Transfer, Aero, and Product Definition interacting disciplines) at the same time. Used in a daily basis the tools of EVMS, risk assessment, recovery plans, resource allocation and planning, Budget/Schedule management for military and commercial engines projects for Pratt & Whitney as our customer. ■ Conducted pricing estimates, project quotes and charging networks assignment, project execution documentation management, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Standard Operating Procedures, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) consistent with enterprise process documentation and assurance standards..

Military Engines Performance Analyst II (2005-2007)

■ Executed in a daily basis F135 engine test data performance analysis Pratt & Whitney as the customer. This included 12 different rig test engines and updates/repairs made to them.

■ Ran simulations according against standard engine requirements and specifications using NPSS.

■ Simulations were based on flight envelope, day conditions and engine number

■ Responsible for keeping track of updates of all engine performance tests run by the customer for a total of 10

different F135 test engines.

■ Requested engine tests, including special tasks to be performed, special instrumentation to be used, and which flight envelope/environmental conditions were needed to be tested.

■ Presented and discussed whole analysis charts presentation packages with customers in a regular basis.

Hewlett-Packard Caribe Aguadilla, PR 1996-2005

Project Management/Process Design/Product Engineer

■ Successful participation in the Process/Product transfer from Hewlett Packard Corvallis, OR Site (R&D) to Hewlett

Packard PR Site for 6 months delivering the complete process to production stage on time.

■ Lead Inkjet technology processes for silicon wafer sandblasting, microwashing, coatings, and product inspection.

■ Directed from start to finish capital assets acquisition, tool installation, validation processes, calibrations, and preventive maintenance including all required documentation as owner/author. Successfully trained and certified personnel for the proper operation and repair/maintenance, this including cross training for different processes’ engineers.

■ Actively lead BOM management, tool warranties, and redesigns to comply with HP World Wide Process Convergence which included Oregon, Ireland, Singapore, and Puerto Rico sites. Highly experienced with development of process documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s), Standard Operating Procedures, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s) consistent with enterprise process documentation and assurance standards.

■ Executed Project Schedule/Budget Management from starting phases (budget approvals based on financial analysis) to release to manufacturing and or commissioning. EVMS, risk assessments, recovery plans, efficient identification of deliverables and milestones, development of maintenance and operation documents followed by continuous training and periodic certifications to technicians and operators.

■ Effectively kept processes capable to handle current products and versatile enough to embrace new technologies.

All this by the continuous use of Six Sigma project methodologies DMAIC, DMADV, and several Quality

Management Tools. Participation in ISO 9000 audits, OSHA, and EHS policies. GMP clear understanding.

■ Successfully lead the cost reduction initiative for parts recycling, $660K in savings /yr.
