ALSTOM INDIA Client: Alstom, France (05/2015 - 08/2015) Noida, India Summer Intern

• Examined the various control blocks of power plants and analysed the working of DLL files.

• Identified the error in one of the major blocks which was causing problems in running the application.

• Performed the conversion of a 32-bit DLL file into a 64-bit DLL file and imported that file into the software that could build new blocks of power plants.

• Redesigned the code of a block which had errors. That modified block could then be used in designing power plants by Alstom around the globe.

PROJECTS

Trucking Company Application (01/2017 - 05/2017) Chicago,IL

• Worked on a Service Oriented Architecture based project and made web services which may be used by any trucking company. The various software technologies used were XML, HTML, JSP, Java and the concept of HashMaps.

• Each java class such as customers, orders etc. had Getter & Setter methods and a ‘toString’ method to access data members.

• The web service were consumed by entering the unique identifier of the record (e.g. CustomerID, EmployeeID).

• The database was constructed by parsing the XML files using a SAX parser. Project Management System (08/2016 - 12/2016) Chicago, IL

• Worked in a team of 4 students to make an application which any company could utilize to store and view the infor- mation about its employees, managers, current projects being worked upon as well as the progress of those projects.

• The technologies used were HTML and JSP and the language used was Java.

• The information was viewed using a dashboard.

• The dashboard had options to view details of projects under the employee or to view the progress of specific projects.
