EXPERIENCE

Certified Pharmacy Technician Safeway 2014-2017

My responsibilities includes but not limited to imputing prescriptions from written,faxed and electronic. Calling insurance companies as wells billing insurance, Ordering from Mckesson, answering phone calls, waiting on customers, pill counting, inventory control, filling prescriptions, checking outdates, restocking, return to stocks, assisting the pharmacist, and help find discount pharmacy cards for customers without insurance.

Certified Pharmacy Technician Kroger-Denver Central Fill 2011-2014

My responsibilities included but not limited to a refill service to area King Soopers, Kroger, Dillons stores throughout Colorado, Wyomning, and Kansas.

My duties included filling refill prescriptions for inhalers, birth control, topical, oral medications. I also counted and dispensed monthly oral medications, conducted inventory control, packed medications ready to be shipped to outside pharmacy’s, restocked shelves, checked for recalls and expirations.

Certified Pharmacy Technician-Swedish Medical Center-1997-2008.

My duties included following hospital pharmacy policies and procedures as they related to: Making IV compounds and solutions, making and following recipes for compounding suppositories, oral medications, and topical medications. Working in the ICU Pharmacy, working and making anesthetic drugs, interacting with nurses, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and doctors. Delivered Pharmacy medications and stock throughout the hospital and adjoining medical buildings.
