Q: What jobs can I post?
If you are ready to pay for job you need to be done - you are welcome to
post it.
Q: What I can NOT post?
-
If you plan to ask for any money from job seekers (directly or indirectly) — do NOT post.
For example, if you plan charging job seekers for shipping learning manuals to them — do NOT post.
-
Pure commission jobs might be ok, but they are in a gray area.
-
If you ask job seekers even for 1 cent — do not post.
-
If it is an MLM — do not post.
The reason why we do not allow MLM postings is that MLMs tend to flood job boards with similar “jobs” and job seekers consider such postings - spam.
-
If your job is illegal — do not post.
For example, if you need someone to cash your forged check — do NOT post.
-
If you are not willing to describe your piece of work in the job posting, and would like to simply post a link to your website — do not post.
Q: How do I make better job postings?
-
Describe what work candidate would have to do if they would be hired.
-
Do NOT include details that have nothing to do with the job.
Examples of not relevant details:
- Long description of all the things your company does that are not relevant to responsibilities of the job seeker you are trying to hire.
- Generic hype about how well off job seeker would be if she joins your wonderful company (usually such hype is a sign of a pyramid scheme).
-
Include keywords relevant to your job opening. These keywords would help job seekers find your posting.
-
Do not include irrelevant keywords (keyword stuffing). Irrelevant keywords attract candidates that are not relevant to what you are looking for.
-
Do NOT to include web links to your job posting. Website links prevent
cross-posting,
invite more scrutiny, and may even cause your account termination.
