INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

• GeoEnpro Petroleum Ltd, Kharsang Oilfield (17th May-17th June,2010)

Worked on a project titled “Gas Lift Design” under the guidance of Mr. Naveen Kumar(General Manager,Operations) and Mr.Vivek Kumar(Mines Manager,Kharsang Oil Field) and visit to fields to see production operations and various tools.

• ONGC Hazira Gas Processing Plant, Surat (7th December-24th December, 2009)

Winter Training in the Hazira Gas Processing Plant consisted of visit to the different units of the plant such as GSU, GDU, DPD, CFU, Gas Terminal etc. Lectures were also delivered by ONGC engineers on safety hazards of the plant and an exercise to use the SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) was done. Different product recovery units of the plant such as SRU, KRU etc. were visited as also the unique recovery unit where ATF is recovered from Condensate.

• ONGC CBM Project, Bokaro (1st December 2009)

Excursion to the CBM Project of ONGC near Bokaro introduced the various aspects of drilling and production of Coal Bed Methane.

• ONGC-Mehsana Asset, Mehsana (11th May-29th May,2009)

Summer Training at Mehsana Asset consisted of visit to Ignition Trailer used in In-Situ Combustion and a special lecture on In-Situ Combustion, which is being successfully employed by ONGC to produce the heavy oil from Ballol and Santhal fields. Visit to different drilling rigs to see drilling operations, visit to Artificial Lift Lab, HOC job site, PDB job site, PTYS, DTYS, GGS, Mehsana CTF, GCP, Workover Rigs, Cementing Services and Logging Services. Lectures delivered by ONGC engineers on field experiences and on the wide spectrum of operations carried out by ONGC.

PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN

• Working on the undergraduate thesis titled, “Production optimization using nodal analysis” under the guidance of Dr. Ajay Mandal, Associate Professor, Department of Petroleum Engineering, ISM Dhanbad.

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

• Was among the top 2% students who qualified IITJEE-2007.

• Was the 2nd topper of the district in Xth board

• Was awarded merit certificate by D.A.V. committee in 2004

• Was awarded SILVER MEDAL(1st class in school level and school rank in INTERNATIONAL level) by KARNATAKA GOVT. in CHINTHANA MATHEMATICS COMPETETION.

• Awarded consolation scholarship merit certificate in DAYANAND SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATION 2002 organized by COS MOS.
