Industrial Coatings Manager
I was hired to expand and improve the coatings division. I contributed to Fisher Tank’s expertise with my experience in coating elevated tanks, as well as estimating and bidding.
My accomplishments included selling $900,000 of repaint jobs in 4 months, completing jobs on time and within budget.
As a manager of the coatings division, I was responsible for:
• Managing field crews
• Sales
• Estimating and Bids
• Acquisition of material and equipment

In addition to my regular duties, I was appointed Project manager for several tank rehabilitations and refurbishments that included steel fabrication, installations, modifications and recoating. This included either the encapsulation of existing coatings or complete removal.

My duties included sales and bidding, managing the field crew, from sandblasting to application of coatings on all substrates. I also developed my knowledge of both field and management experience with sales, bids and budget management.
I was responsible for jobs such as the recoating and beautification of a waste
management renewable energy plant.
2005 - 2007 D & G Industrial Coatings, Pell City, AL
General Manager
My accomplishments included painting a 5 million gallon potable water storage tank, both interior and exterior, using Tnemec coatings, located in Harrison, Ark.
We worked mostly as subcontractors to storage tank and structural steel fabricators, and other industrial coatings companies, such as ECO painting, DS Industries, Pell City Industrial, Advance Tank and Construction, and McWayne Pipe.
My duties included managing the field crew, sales, bidding and budget management.

Foreman / Project Manager
Working for years as a foreman, I was promoted to Project Manager and was responsible for the complete painting of the new Stanton Energy Plant located in Orlando FL, using Devoe Coatings.
My regular duties included sandblasting and industrial coatings of ground storage tanks as well as all different types of steel storage tanks.
I developed a great experience and knowledge of the industrial coating field, from their properties to application and tolerances. I worked with most of the coatings manufacturers: Tnemec, International, Devoe, Carboline, Plasite, Sherwin Williams, Mobil, Induron, Wasser, Prat Lambert, and others.
