Projects:

Graduate:

1)Working on a project which consists of working on a project which consists of building RTOS for scheduling of different tasks with preemptive scheduling technique for Microchip PIC24FJ64GA002. Semaphores will be used to address share data problems. (2011)

2)Working on Intel’s dual core ATOM board using multi-thread programming which includes interfacing of various sensors using ECON 9803 A/D converter to develop a Real Time Data Acquisition system. Programming will be done using multi-thread programming concepts.(2011)

3)Working on a project in which we will be doing parallel programming of Intel Processor in order to use its processing capability efficiently during spring 2011 semester. (2011)

4)Completed a project with the goal to determine the best architecture for a cache controller that interfaces to a 32-bit microprocessor that is used for signal processing using

Microsoft Visual C++.(2010)

5)Completed a project including detailed description of VPN technologies. Plus, pros & cons of each technology.(2010)

6)Designed a 32-bit microprocessor based on Harvard architecture. This group project will implement full resolution of structural, control, and data hazards using a 7-stage pipeline.(2010)

7)Designed hardware and software for a microprocessor system capable of capturing analog signals at rates of 1Msps or higher. (2010)

8)Completed a project in which we built timing intensive asynchronous communications interface using DMX512-A protocol. The controller used was Microchip PIC24FJ64GA002. Interface used between PC & controller was RS- 232.(2010)

9)Designed Convolutional codes for wireless communication MIMO system in a group of three.(2010)

10)We critiqued rate versus power control in IS-95 and CDMA2000 1 EV-DO using channel inversion power control, equal power allocation for and waterfilling power control in a group project.(2010)

11)Studied the operation of the interface between a computer and the internet using Wireshark. Data collection was studied along with working of different protocols in a graduate level project.(2010)

12)Simulation of a MIMO Wireless Communication System which included space-time coding in a Rayleigh fading environment.(2009)

13)Study project dealt with the design and fabrication of Radio Frequency MEMS Tunable filters at various frequency range operations.(2009)

Industry Project Experience:

1)A timing circuit was designed and fabricated to detect different types of nuclear particles. This group project was completed in the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India under the guidance of Dr. A.B. Parui as a part of my undergraduate studies. (2008-09)

Membership and Activities:
