Designing programs to reduce crime such as reducing recruitment of children into gangs is an interest I have. I have great passion to accomplish a way to make the community and the country a safer place for citizens through the fields of Criminal Justice and Psychology.

I would like to work in these fields that will afford me the opportunity to use the knowledge I have gained in college and continue to gain by completing my Bachelor's Degree and then Masters or PhD program.

I am looking to work in a field where I believe I will make a difference in people’s lives and in the community. I believe that my passion to create a safer environment will allow me to be an asset for the right company or organization I will be a partner in. The use of my knowledge in security assessment and design will be an asset for my career but the most active quality I have is my willingness and passion to learn and be part of a team that makes a difference in people's lives.

I work well as part of a team. I have a unique ability to teach people driving and scuba diving with the focus on why a person cannot accomplish a task. I look at learning on a psychological level. When a person appears to not be able to complete a task, I try to find out why that person cannot accomplish the task and not that the person cannot do it. I have found that if we can find the reason a person is not performing to the best of his or her ability, the chances the employee will become an asset to the company is greater than the chance of losing the time and resources invested in that employee by termination.
