Clinical Laboratory Experience:

Clinical rotation included over 600 hours at various hospitals including; Indian River Medical

Center, Sebastian River Medical Center and Lawnwood Medical Center. Introduced to the following instrumentation: Sysmex 1500, Sysmex XE 2100, Dimension RL Max (operated, calibrated with assistance of clinical mentor), Dimension Vista 1500, Osmometer 3320, Nova 8, Mini Vidas, Siemens, cytocentrifuge, ESR sed. rate analyzer and Vitek. Also was introduced to LIS (Meckesson), order entry, and central processing and Clinical LIS systems. Attended hospital orientation and performed phlebotomy procedures when needed.

Work Experience:

Jet Service Center/Key Air South Florida: Aircraft Line Service Technician 6/05 – 2/11

Duties include: Performing aircraft refueling, oil servicing, aircraft towing and aircraft marshaling. Working on aircraft electrical power as well as completing lavatory services, air conditioning and aircraft cleaning and vacuuming. Using both telephone and radio communications. Helping with luggage handling, assisting with rental cars as well as hotel and catering arrangements.

United States Air Force: Aircraft Ground Equipment Mechanic 2001-2006

Duties include: Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on equipment. Inspecting, testing, and operating to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Using automated maintenance system to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions.
